Ardha Chandra अर्धचन्द् is an Indian-inspired clothing brand based in who promotes sustainable, ethical, and handmade fashion. The tie and wrap clothing we design in-house is brought to life by Indian artisans who have honed their textile craftsmanship to perfection.

Ardha Chandra translates to “half moon” in Sanskrit—our mission is to help others find that missing piece of themselves through our authentic, handmade clothing, crafted with love and care. At Ardha Chandra, we know so much of our identity is expressed through the clothing we wear—find what makes you you.

The logomaking process comprised of both hand drawn and digital renders of experiementation and exploration, allowing the final logotype and logomark to be fully realized in their own individual forms.

Utilizing a simple pairing of serif Begum and sans-serif Myriad Devanagari, as well as the shop name paired with the smaller Sanskrit translation, this logotype communicates Ardha Chandra अर्धचन्द् as a timeless and charming apparel shop.

This is the main logo and can be used on physical and digital applications.

The logomark is an organic, simple take on a traditional Chandrabindu. It stamps Ardha Chandra अर्धचन्द् with a handmade, natural feel which takes root in Indian spirituality and identity.

Multiple color combinations can be used for the 2-color version, and a single color should be used for the stand alone logomark.

The logomark can be used at a small scale on the web and socials, or at a larger scale on physical applications such as handtags and shopping bags.
